The Flue Fighters offers a range of services designed to help keep chimneys, flues and stoves clean, maintained and working as they should.
Chimney sweeping is at the heart of the business, alongside inspection, maintenance and problem-solving services where further attention is needed.
Routine chimney sweeping for wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, open fires and other solid-fuel installations.
The service is carried out using professional equipment with care taken to protect the customer’s home and contain soot and debris.
Maintenance, servicing and appropriate repair work for stoves and flues.
If your stove needs routine attention or isn’t operating as expected, we can help assess the issue.
We use a specialist camera where further investigation inside a chimney or flue is required.
This may be useful where there is a suspected blockage, poor updraught or another issue that cannot easily be identified from outside.
If a chimney is obstructed, it will not operate correctly and can be dangerous.
The Flue Fighters can investigate suspected bird nests, debris and other blockages and advise on the appropriate next steps.
Advice is also available for customers who are unsure about how best to use their stove or fire.
This can include fuel choice, poor updraught, downdraught, smoke issues and general maintenance advice.
We work across Widnes, Liverpool and surrounding areas.
